ROUTES CAUGHT IN MATTER
Describing myself from my own perspective, I would say that I’m a route. I go here and there, experience this and that, meet him and her. I follow an unseen line that takes me to places and people. And in the mean while I create things: paintings, objects, sculptures, writings.
Creating is like going on a walk without knowing where to go. Take a first step, and see where the next one leads, and the next and the next. The artwork is finished when there are no more steps to take.
As I am, so are my works: each one of them a route. The only difference is that I’m still on my way, while the artworks are routes caught in matter.
